in the words of one maker

chelsea and i just entered a making cycle. this is happening more frequently as of late, and it feels good. you know those cycles? you find yourself sitting in a slump of void and creative-nil when suddenly something so unconvincingly simple pops into your head and you decide to just make something of it, and that something actually works? it’s nice. and, although it’s nice now, it may not work just right next time, which is an entirely different cycle, so you’re even happier that this one’s on the up-and-up? yeah, that’s about where we are at the moment. so much to do. so much done. just hoping the next cycle will be something worth getting giddy about.

tonight i found a happy site: the studio of mae.
